Cleaning up awards is an understatement for Christian Bauman, who this time earned a Gold Glove award from Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) for his stellar performance in the outfield. Determined by the NJCAA Division III Baseball Committee only eight others in the country received this award.
The Shore Regional alumni marked a .989 field percentage throughout the season, with a team-high 69 RBIs to go along with 13 homers on the season, batting .372 along the way in 54 games played. Along with receiving a Gold Glove, Bauman also earned ABCA/Rawlings All American honors, alongside Region XIX and GSAC Player of the Year honors.
Bauman committed to play at Radford University in Radford Virginia next year.
