The Massage Therapy Program, part of the School of Therapeutic Massage & Holistic Health, will be moving to a new location in the lower level of the CAR Building in March. The new home facilities include new classroom space (CAR 013) and a clinical training room (CAR 011). A formal dedication will take place on Tuesday, March 10. An information session regarding the program, classes and career opportunities will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the new location.
The state-approved program is a 684-hour course with day and evening options. The program meets New Jersey licensing standards and prepares students for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). The Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards FSMTB governs and administers the MBLEx.
