In just three years as the Brookdale Head Men’s Cross Country Coach, Mike Tursi has found himself with not one, but two National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX Head Coach of the Year awards.

Coach Tursi’s passion and determination for the sport of cross country, coaching quality student-athletes, and for the Brookdale Community itself, has served as momentum to take the program to the next level, adding rich history and earning respect nationwide. Tursi added back-to-back Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Champs, Region 19 Champs, and earned the 11th spot in the nation at the NJCAA 2022 National Championships in Westfield, MA.
