Public Health
Brookdale Community College, County College of Morris, Mercer County Community College, and Middlesex County College have formed a consortium to offer the Public Health A.S. program that is transferable to baccalaureate degrees in public health. Graduates of bachelor’s degree programs in public health have career opportunities in environmental health, state and local health departments, hospitals, educational institutions, and research organizations.
Public Health, A.S.
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Demonstrate scientific foundation knowledge and skills appropriate for students seeking advanced study in the field of public health
- Apply the scientific method of inquiry to gather and analyze data and use information relevant to major local, national and global health challenges
- Conduct a literature search on health issues using a variety of academic and public resources
- Engage in collaborative approaches for improving population health

Transfer Opportunities
Transfer Agreements by Academic Program: Articulation Agreements are formal agreements between Brookdale and other colleges and universities. These agreements define how the courses you complete at Brookdale will apply to your future bachelor’s degree when you transfer into a baccalaureate program.
