NEW on June 3, 2024, students may access QLess for advising appointments. This system allows students to join the walk-in list, view forecasted wait times, schedule, reschedule, and/or cancel an appointment right from your phone.

To get started, you will need your student ID number. Check here to look it up!

Academic Advising Services


Advising in Lincroft
  • Make an appointment to meet with a Student Success Coach in-person using our QLess system.
  • Come to the CAR Building 2nd floor, (Parking Lot #5 is the most convenient) for a walk-in appointment. Check walk-in hours at the bottom of the page.
Advising in Wall
  • Make an in-person appointment at our Wall location using our QLess system or call 732-280-7090.

Advising For EOF Program Students
  • Appointments with assigned EOF Advisors are reserved for EOF Program students only.  The EOF QLess link is available in the EOF Canvas course, in the EOF Office (CAR 105), by the link below, and by emailing eof@brookdalecc.edu or calling 732-224-2510.
  • If you are an EOF Program student, you can make an appointment with an EOF Student Success Coach (Academic Advisor) located in the CAR building (parking lot 5, room 105) using EOF QLESS. This system allows students to join the walk-in list, view forecasted wait times, schedule, reschedule, and/or cancel an appointment right from your phone. Welcome to Advising Services at Brookdale Community College!

For some students, the transition to college can be filled with challenges; how to navigate a new environment, understanding course expectations and how to get help, to name a few. Our Student Success Coaches are here to help navigate the transition to Brookdale.

Student Success coaches support students in the following ways:

  • Creating meaningful and attainable academic, professional, and personal goals
  • Building confidence and maintaining a positive outlook
  • Keeping you engaged with course content to ensure successful completion of your program
  • Assist with time management skills and study strategies
  • Managing education, work, and other priorities
  • Connecting with campus resources and departments, such as Tutoring, Accessibility Services or Financial Aid
  • Major declaration and course selection

You can connect with a Student Success Coach by scheduling an in-person/phone appointment, or as a walk-in (see calendar for times).

You can get help close to home at our Higher Education Centers!

You can choose to receive advising services at Brookdale’s five Higher Education Centers located in Freehold, Wall, Neptune, and Long Branch.

The regional locations have dedicated staff to provide student services such as Registration, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and Testing. The Associate Directors of these locations are your resources for academic advising close to home. They are meeting with students both in person and virtually. You can also meet with an Associate Director at a regional location to address any questions you have about your schedule, financial aid, or other related issues.
