Departmental Plans
Each department identifies outcomes derived from the College's strategic plan, the Matrix. Goals specific to the department are added. Many of the goals are the result of the department's program review and input from their advisory boards. The plans use a five- column approach:
Matrix Theme- Topic
Department Outcome
Strategy Ideas
MID YEAR
STATUS REPORT
ANNUAL
REPORT
Departments report the outcomes twice a year, once in January (Mid Year Status Report) and at the end of the Academic Year in May (Annual Report).
Departmental Plans are on a two-year development and reporting cycle. Each department works on plans during the Fall Faculty Days for the following Academic Year. Departments also revise the current year plans at the start of the academic year. Both plans are submitted to the Dean of Academic Affairs for review.
