Associate Degrees & Certificate Programs

Interested in pursuing a degree? Brookdale offers four types of Associate Degree programs:

The Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) and Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) programs serve students who plan to transfer to four-year colleges. These institutions require a broad range of general education courses for freshmen and sophomores, and concentrate on major-related courses in the junior and senior years.

The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) programs prepare students to enter employment as well-rounded, skilled workers.

In some study areas, Brookdale also offers certificate programs. These contain fewer credits than the degree programs and certify students as competent in a particular employment area. The credits earned in these certificate programs are applicable to the related degree programs.
